Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Al-Safadi, stated that His Majesty King Abdullah II clearly expresses, on behalf of the conscience and sentiments of the Jordanian people, Jordan’s firm and unwavering stance in defending its supreme interests and the just Palestinian cause.

He emphasized that any offense or doubt cast on Jordan’s positions and institutions is a red line that will not be tolerated. He warned that such actions, particularly those influenced by external interference, would be firmly confronted, and there would be no leniency in punishment.
Al-Safadi’s remarks came during a meeting of the Executive Office of the House of Representatives, which includes the Permanent Office as well as heads and representatives of all parliamentary blocs. The meeting was attended by First Deputy Speaker Mustafa Al-Khasawneh, Assistant Speakers Huda Nafa’ and Mohammad Al-Mara’iyah, and heads and representatives of various parliamentary blocs, including Mazen Al-Qadi (Mithaq Bloc), Mohammad Aqel (Islamic Action Front Party Bloc), Ayman Abu Hanieh (Azm Party Bloc), Zohair Al-Khashman (Centrist Parties Union Bloc), Khamis Atiyeh (Irada and National Islamic Party Bloc), and Raed Ruba’ (Taqaddum Bloc).
Al-Safadi reaffirmed that His Majesty’s stance is steadfast and unequivocal, both domestically and internationally. He reiterated that Jordan will not accept any solutions that compromise its national interests, emphasizing that Jordan's and Jordanians’ interests take precedence over all other considerations. He also underscored Jordan’s continued commitment to defending Palestinian rights and rejecting any proposals for the displacement of Palestinian brothers from their land.
The Speaker of the House noted that His Majesty’s recent discussion with military retirees on Veterans and Military Retirees Appreciation Day underscores the need for all state institutions to fulfill their responsibilities in line with the King’s directives and the aspirations of the Jordanian people, who have demonstrated unparalleled loyalty and dedication. He reaffirmed the Parliament’s full support for the King’s clear and unwavering positions over the past 25 years: “No to displacement, no to resettlement, no to an alternative homeland.”
Al-Safadi also expressed deep pride and appreciation for the sacrifices of Jordan’s armed forces and security agencies, both active and retired, emphasizing their unmatched dedication, as reiterated by His Majesty.
For their part, parliamentary bloc leaders and representatives voiced their pride in the King’s firm positions in defending Jordan and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. They stressed the importance of standing united against displacement plans and any attempts to undermine Jordan’s national stance.
The meeting also addressed several organizational issues concerning the functioning and priorities of the Parliament in the upcoming phase, with the aim of strengthening parliamentary efforts to serve the nation and its citizens.
