Munich – On Saturday, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, received Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

Safadi conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II to the President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, as well as developments in the region. Safadi reaffirmed Jordan's firm position in supporting Yemeni legitimacy, its support for the security and stability of Yemen, and the necessity of ending the Yemeni crisis in accordance with the approved references, while preserving Yemen's security, stability, and sovereignty.
For his part, Al-Alimi sent his greetings to His Majesty the King and emphasized the strength of Yemeni-Jordanian relations and the importance of continued coordination between the two brotherly countries.
