Today, Sunday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, is participating in the meeting of the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee on Gaza, hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt. The meeting will also include the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell.

The meeting will be attended by the Foreign Ministers of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Palestine, the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of Turkey, and the Republic of Indonesia, along with the Secretary-General of the Arab League, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.
The meeting aims to enhance coordination between Arab and Islamic countries regarding the Gaza issue, exchange views on the current situation in the Gaza Strip, and discuss ways to support the Palestinian people in the face of the ongoing challenges.
