Irbid – The Al-Wasatia Municipality in Irbid Governorate continues to implement projects aimed at opening and paving roads and creating parks for citizens.

The municipality’s President, Imad Al-Azzam, told the first phase of the tender for the maintenance and paving of the main entrance to Kafr Asad has begun.
The central island is being removed to pave the way for a redesigned central island. The total cost for all phases of the project is 185,986 dinars.
Al-Azzam added that the municipality has paved the right lane of the Kafr 'An entrance with hot asphalt, as part of a road opening and paving tender.
Work will continue on the remaining streets in the district, with the total cost amounting to 250,000 dinars.
He also mentioned that the municipality’s staff has completed the construction of Kafr 'An Park according to the general plan.
The works included leveling the grounds, constructing stone walls, preparing entrances and exits, and building stone stairs at varying levels using local stone to create an aesthetic look that blends with the area's natural features.
Al-Azzam noted that work will soon begin on adding park features, including walking paths, family seating areas, and children's play areas, following appropriate designs.
