Dr. Hani Al-Nawafleh, Secretary-General of the Council, stated that the amendments come in response to the rapid developments in the nursing sector and a commitment to upholding standards of transparency and fairness among applicants. This will positively impact the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens.

He explained that the new amendments include advanced monitoring mechanisms based on the latest technologies to track the progress of the exam. Additionally, severe penalties will be imposed on violators, including disqualification, cancellation of exam results, a minimum 6-month ban on re-taking the exam, as well as legal accountability and referral to the judiciary in accordance with applicable regulations.

The procedures will be strictly enforced to ensure an exam environment based on integrity and credibility, reflecting positively on public safety by ensuring that qualified nurses can responsibly and competently fulfill their duties.

Al-Nawafleh noted that the amendments were based on extensive studies of global professional exam standards. The aim is to ensure fairness for all applicants, giving each person a fair chance to demonstrate their qualifications without engaging in any illicit practices.

He called on all applicants to fully comply with the exam rules and regulations, emphasizing that integrity is not just a legal obligation but a fundamental pillar of the nursing profession, which relies on honesty and responsibility in providing the best possible care and service to patients.
