Amman Bus and BRT experience strong demand, 4.1 million passengers in 2024

AMMAN —Mohammed Sarihin, the Director of transport operations at Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), confirmed that an estimated 24 million passengers are expected to use the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Amman Bus services in 2024.اضافة اعلان

During a radio interview, Sarihin stated that 4.1 million passengers have already used these buses since the beginning of the year, with approximately 2 million passengers per month, Hala Akhbar reported.

The continuous increase in ticket sales for both the BRT and Amman Bus indicates the high demand from citizens. Interestingly, the actual number of passengers during the trial operation period exceeded expectations.
