Attendees will represent pharmaceutical authorities, warehouses, local and foreign drug companies, health institutions, academia, the World Health Organization, and international organizations.

Six axes of discussion
The conference will span two days and encompass six main axes of discussion, as explained by Mhaidat.

The first axis aims to enhance the investment environment in the pharmaceutical industry. It will explore mechanisms and strategies aligned with the Royal vision for economic update, with the goal of creating an attractive investment environment in Jordan and overcoming associated challenges.

The second axis focuses on the supervisory and legislative role of authorities in enhancing pharmaceutical security and ensuring access to safe and effective medications. This axis will cover important developments in drug control, encompassing registration, inspection, supply chains, and pharmacovigilance, at the local, regional, and global levels.

Addressing the importance of research and development (R&D) in the pharmaceutical industry, the third axis emphasizes its role in achieving pharmaceutical security and enhancing the national economy.

Key factors influencing R&D in regional and global pharmaceutical industries will be explored, along with initiatives to promote collaboration between academia and the pharmaceutical sector.

The fourth axis aims to enhance integration among Arab industries and establish unified procedures. A safe conceptual framework to achieve Arab and regional pharmaceutical security will be developed, emphasizing the significance of cooperation and coordination among Arab regulatory authorities.

The fifth axis will discuss strategies to empower biotechnology and biopharmaceutical industries, focusing on the role of regulatory legislation in this process. Additionally, the establishment of a pharmaceutical research center to support these efforts and enhance human capacity development will be addressed.

Lastly, the sixth axis will shed light on the importance of pharmaceutical innovations and value-added drugs in pharmaceutical security. Access to innovative drugs and value-added medications for patients will be explored as a crucial aspect of achieving pharmaceutical security.
