It is worth noting that a certificate of origin is a document used in international trade to authenticate that the goods in a particular shipment have been produced, manufactured, or processed in a specific country. The certificate is used by customs to determine the eligibility of goods for tariff preferences and to verify the country of origin of those goods.

The Chamber issues certificates of origin for Jordanian agricultural, animal, and natural products, as well as for foreign goods that are re-exported, and foreign goods purchased from the local market under certain conditions. It also issues certificates of origin for Jordanian industrial products upon the exporter's request, based on the original factory invoice certified by an industrial chamber and an original certificate of origin certified by an industrial chamber, proving that the goods are of Jordanian origin.
