Starting Sunday, January 15, “no objection
to traffic tickets” will be accept in-person at the Amman Municipality court,
GAM said.
The digitalization of this service aims to
serve the public by saving time and effort, organize the court’s processes, and
alleviate traffic and crowding at the court.
The electronic system, which is ready to
receive 600 daily requests for registering objections, will be available
through the “Objections” portal on the website
www.ammancity.gov.jo.
After registering an objection, a
petitioner will receive a date to appear in court for a review of the traffic
violation, GAM noted, adding that the petitioner’s appearance before a judge is
considered imperative.
