AMMAN — The director of aerial operations at
ArabiaWeather,
Osama Tarifi, said that they are expecting the Kingdom to be affected by a
heatwave at the beginning of the coming week.

He said in a statement on Monday, August 7, that the heat
wave is "under observation," and its impact is expected next
Saturday, continuing until at least the middle of the following week, Hala News
reported.
The forecasts indicate a
rise in temperatures on Friday,
just before the expected heatwave, he added.
Tarifi stated that it is natural for the
Kingdom to be affected by heatwaves during the months of June, July, August, and September.
He added that in recent years, the month of May has also witnessed heatwaves.
