The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that the personnel of the Anti-Narcotics Department continued their daily efforts to track down drug dealers, smugglers, and traffickers. In the past few days, they dealt with nine major cases across various regions of the Kingdom, leading to the arrest of 13 drug traffickers and the seizure of large quantities of illegal drugs.

The spokesperson emphasized that one of the most prominent cases occurred in the northern Badia, where previous investigations led to the discovery of 126 bundles of hashish and 6,000 pills. The person involved in this case was identified and arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
In another case in the capital, a drug dealer's home was raided after gathering intelligence confirming he was in possession of large amounts of drugs. He was arrested after resisting the authorities and attempting to flee. Authorities seized 14 bundles of hashish from him. Another raid in the capital led to the arrest of another drug dealer, who was found with 14 bundles of hashish.
In a third case in the capital, following surveillance and gathering information on two suspects involved in drug trafficking, both were raided and arrested. Authorities seized 12 bundles of hashish from them.
In Irbid Governorate, a drug dealer was arrested after using one of the local farms to store drugs. Upon raiding and searching the farm, authorities found 9 kilograms of marijuana.
In Madaba Governorate, 11 bundles of hashish were found in the possession of a drug dealer during a raid and arrest. In central Badia, a drug dealer was arrested with 2 kilograms of marijuana. Additionally, in Mafraq Governorate, two dangerous drug dealers were arrested after a violent confrontation with the authorities, and 11 bundles of hashish and a firearm were seized from them.
Lastly, an attempt to smuggle a quantity of crystal meth through Queen Alia International Airport was thwarted. A passenger was suspected, and after being searched, authorities found 1.5 kilograms of crystal meth in his possession. Further investigation led to the arrest of two other individuals involved in the case.
