Anti-Narcotics Department arrests 17,233 people since beginning of 2022

AMMAN — The Anti-Narcotics Department said on Wednesday that until the end of August 2022, it has dealt with 11,764 cases of drug trafficking, dealing, possession and use, 12,504 fewer cases than last year’s figures, according to Khaberni.اضافة اعلان

These included 3,303 cases of trafficking and promotion, and 8,428 cases of drug possession and abuse.

The department arrested 5,929 dealers and traffickers, and 11,304 drug users by the end of August 2022, a total of 17,233 people, a decrease from last year when the number for the entire year was 18,651 people.
