Aqaba– The "Loyalty to the Leader" tournament, organized by the Sports Federation for University and Intermediate Colleges, concluded on Saturday evening at the courts of Aqaba University College.

The tournament saw the participation of 20 colleges from various government, military, and private sectors, with students competing in a variety of sports, including five-a-side football, table tennis, basketball, badminton, and beach volleyball.
During the closing ceremony, which was attended by the Governor of Aqaba, Khaled Al-Hajjaj, and the Vice President of the University for Centers and Community Affairs, Dr. Khaled Al-Zu'bi, the President of Al-Balqa Applied University, Dr. Ahmad Fakhri Al-Ajlouni, emphasized that the tournament represents the university's message to promote national loyalty and foster positive competition among students.
He commended the participating colleges and organizing committees for presenting a bright image of university sports.
The ceremony featured a documentary showcasing the university’s achievements in sports, alongside artistic performances by the Ma'an Folk Arts Troupe and the university's choir.
The President of the University and the Governor of Aqaba distributed awards and trophies to the winning teams, participants, and supporting figures.
The university center won the Comprehensive Union Cup for both male and female students, while medals and cups were awarded to the victorious colleges. Supporting personalities and institutions were also honored for their contributions to the success of the event.
