Aqaba Police Directorate Launches Security Campaign Against Smugglers, Arrests Three and Seizes 13 Unlicensed Vehicles

The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate announced that the Southern Region Security Command / Aqaba Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Gendarmerie Forces, other security agencies, and the Anti-Customs Smuggling Department, carried out an extensive security campaign yesterday targeting smugglers in the Aqaba Governorate.اضافة اعلان

The spokesperson confirmed that the campaign, along with accompanying raids, resulted in the arrest of three smugglers in possession of quantities of goods prepared for smuggling. Additionally, 13 unlicensed vehicles—most of which lacked license plates and were used for smuggling purposes—were seized during the operation. Legal action will be taken against those involved.
