In a statement, Majali pointed to the
ongoing coordination between the authority, the Aqaba Chamber of Trade, and the
private sector to encourage tourism in Aqaba through the "Addafa Janoubi"
carnival, which was launched on Thursday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra,
reported.
The carnival is part of an integrated plan
to enhance
Aqaba tourism over the course of 18 months, making a visit to the
port city “not only about shopping, but also entertainment and adventure”, he
said.
