AMMAN —
The Red Sea resort city of Aqaba received 1.2 million visitors in the first
eight months of 2022, Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA)
Commissioner for Environment and Tourism Nidal Al-Majali said, according to the
Jordan News Agency, Petra.

In the eight months,
there were 630,000 hotel reservations, 1,600 aircraft movements via the King
Hussein International Airport, and 170,000 entries through Jordan’s southern
border, Majali noted.
