AMMAN — An Arab woman was transferred from
a private clinic to a private hospital in critical condition following a
liposuction surgery, according to Al-Ghad News.
An informed source at the Ministry of Health said that
the woman had visited a clinic located in a house in west Amman, where a
non-specialist doctor performed a liposuction surgery on her. Following the
surgery, she bled for eight hours straight, leading to a decrease in blood
flow. She was then to the ICU at a private hospital and was reported to be in
critical condition.
A number of relevant authorities have visited the
private hospital to look into the incident and open an investigation into the
case, the source indicated.
