Army arrests two 'infiltrators' on northern border

AMMAN — A military source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF) said on Monday that the Northern Military Region's personnel thwarted an infiltration attempt by two men from Syria into Jordan.اضافة اعلان

The source said that the rules of engagement were applied, which led to the arrest of the two suspects and handing them over to competent authorities.

The source underlined that the JAF will deal firmly and decisively with any infiltration or smuggling attempts, protect the borders, and thwart any who would tamper with Jordan’s national security.
