Army foils infiltration, smuggling attempts

AMMAN - The Northern Military Zone on Friday foiled an infiltration attempt by one person, according to a source at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

The source added that zone personnel applied the rules of engagement in such incidents and arrested the infiltrator, who was along with a large amount of weapons and ammunitions referred to concerned authorities.

The source also stressed that the armed forces will deal firmly with any infiltration or smuggling attempt aiming at undermining Jordan’s national security.
