AMMAN — The Northern Military Zone thwarted an infiltration attempt to smuggle weapons and ammunition into the
Kingdom early Tuesday, said the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
One of the infiltrators was injured, according to a
Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army official, Petra said.
It said the others were apprehended with a variety
of weapons and ammunition in their possession.
The Army will “apply full force” to protect the borders from
any infiltration or smuggling attempts, the official asserted.
