Army kills infiltrator on northeastern border

AMMAN - Eastern Military Zone troops engaged with infiltrators coming from Syrian land on Thursday morning, killing one of them and forcing the rest to retreat.اضافة اعلان

A military source said soldiers applied the rules of engagement against a group of people trying to trespass the Jordanian-Syrian borders illegally.

The source said the Jordanian Armed Forces is forging ahead in dealing with anyone trying to undermine the security of the Kingdom and its people and will strike with an iron fist any attempt of infiltration or smuggling.
