Army receives French military vehicles

AMMAN -The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) - the Arab Army on Thursday received a number of military 4×4 vehicles from the French army.

In the handover ceremony, director of JAF’s planning, organisation, and defense resources, Brigadier Gen. Yousef Khatib, stressed the "deep-rooted" Jordanian-French relations and thanked the French army for this support, which came within the framework of joint cooperation.

Khatib was also briefed on the vehicles' technical specifications and their "advanced" features, which suit the nature of the JAF units' work.

At the end of the ceremony, which was attended by a number of senior JAF officers and the French Defense Attache in Amman, the two sides exchanged souvenirs.
