In a letter addressed to Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh, the council indicated that the professional associations have expressed their desire to hold their elections on due time and under the respective bylaws of each association.

According to the letter addressed to the prime minister, a copy of which was obtained by Al-Rai, the implementation of the health protocol during the meetings and elections of public entities represents a transgression on the respective bylaw of those entities and interferes with their provisions.

Elections of all the professional associations will be during a set timeframe at the Union of Professional Associations and will be supervised by the respective supervisory boards, which under Order 35 requires observing health protocols.
