According to an official statement, the customs team became suspicious of a shipment of construction material and conducted a thorough inspection. Upon examination, they discovered the concealed hashish and recorded the incident in preparation for the necessary legal procedures by the Anti-Narcotics Department.
The Jordan Customs Department reaffirmed that its teams at all border customs posts continue to work side by side with security and regulatory agencies in a relentless effort to combat all forms of smuggling, especially narcotics, given their direct impact on economic and social security.
