According to a statement from the organization today, Thursday, the campaigns were launched in the governorates of Amman and Mafraq, in collaboration with the local community development centers in Manshiyat Bani Hassan and Al-Taybeh Housing.

Mohammad Al-Awawrah, the organization’s director in Jordan, stated that the campaigns included meetings with the local community to discuss the importance of parental care and its impact on society.

Additionally, an interactive theatrical performance was presented to depict reality and emphasize the significance of parental care programs and their effects on children.

He added that the parental care interventions implemented by the organization are based on methodologies that have undergone scientific studies, research, and extensive trials to measure their impact and effectiveness.

He emphasized that the parental care program is one of several initiatives carried out by the organization to ensure a safe environment for children, in partnership with the Ministry of Social Development.

It is worth noting that these activities were carried out with support from the Dutch Van Leer Foundation, which aims to support children, caregivers, and communities worldwide, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development, Al-Awn Foundation, and Qudrat Center, through four local community development centers across Jordan: Jdita Center in Irbid, Manshiyat Bani Hassan Center in Mafraq, Bani Hashem Villages Center in Zarqa, and Al-Taybeh Housing Center in the capital.
