AMMAN — Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs,
Wajih Azaiza, on Thursday discussed with Chilean Ambassador to Jordan, Jorge Alejandro Tagle Canelo, cooperation prospects between the two countries in multiple fields, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Azaiza stressed the "deep-rooted" Jordanian-Chilean relations, based on mutual respect, stressing the need to maintain continued cooperation to achieve common goals.
Highlighting Jordan's political system modernization, he referred to the ministry's role in cooperation with the relevant ministries to increase women and youth participation in political and party life.
For his part, the envoy lauded the "distinguished" Jordanian-Chilean relations, praising all Jordan's efforts and its wise leadership at the Arab and international levels in maintaining relations with all countries across the world.
The ambassador also expressed his interest in learning about the government's administrative, economic and political reforms, noting that his country is currently witnessing a similar stage.
