AMMAN — Minister of Health
Firas Al-Hawari said Saturday that his ministry continues to develop its healthcare
services to citizens in state-run hospitals and health centers in all
governorates across Jordan, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

Launching Al-Bashir Hospital’s Center for Sclerosis, Diabetes and
Endocrinology, in the presence of Princess Alia Al-Tabaa, the Honorary
President of the Society for Multiple Sclerosis in Jordan, Hawari stressed that
the ministry has continued to implement its plans to improve the health sector.
He emphasized the role of the companies supporting the projects and
initiatives of the ministry of health in the framework of the societal
responsibility of these companies and their commitments towards achieving active
and constructive cooperation with the ministry and to the benefit of the
service recipients who have come to see the results of this cooperation
clearly.
“Health personnel have been provided for the operation of these centers
by doctors, nurses and technicians. These personnel will continue to be
attached to the necessary training programs” according to Hawari.
Through this center, new clinics have been developed within the center,
such as the Diabetes Education Clinic, the first-equipped diabetic Foot Clinic,
as well as the Nutrition Clinic.
