This was calculated using average monthly net wage data from Numbeo, which monitors wages worldwide through monthly questionnaires.

The study looked at 102 countries to determine how long it would take an average-wage earner to become a millionaire.

Switzerland takes the leadAccording to the study, Switzerland was ranked number one, where it would take an average-wage earner 14 years and three months to become a millionaire.

Singapore came second on the list, taking 16 years and 11 months, followed by Luxembourg, at 17 years and four months, and the US, where it would take 19 years and 10 months.

Arab MillionairesOn the Arab level, Qatar topped the list, taking 21 years and three months to become a millionaire, followed by the UAE, which takes 23 years and nine months.

Oman ranked third, taking 38 years and six months, while Kuwait came in fourth at 41 years and two months.

Despite ranking sixth in the Arab world, Jordan managed to beat Algeria, which ranked 96th on the list, and Egypt, which ranked 101st.

This was due to the fact that it would take an Algerian 312 years to become a millionaire, while it would take a massive 603 years for an Egyptian to make it to the top of the dollar league.

For currency conversion in the study, Picodi reportedly used the average exchange rate data from Google Finance for March 2023.
