Rudaina Haddad, founder and CEO of Bookagri, highlighted
these offerings during a lecture hosted by the Jordan Society for Scientific
Research, Entrepreneurship, and Creativity on Sunday.

Tourists can select from a range of agritourism destinations
in Salt,
Jerash, Ajloun, and Karak, allowing them to spend a day with farmers
or even extend their experience by staying overnight in accommodations provided
by Bookagri.
In addition to the immersive activities, Bookagri's project
offers visitors guided tours, cooking lessons, home product development
opportunities, and an interactive platform to enhance their understanding of
Jordan's agricultural heritage, as stated by Haddad.
Growing popularity of agricultural tourism
The popularity of agricultural tourism in Jordan has
witnessed a significant rise, with a growing number of visitors seeking to
explore the process of agricultural and animal product production and acquire
hands-on farming skills.
Haddad emphasized the
economic benefits of Bookagri for
local communities, highlighting that women in particular can generate income
from the resources of their farms while also having the opportunity to interact
with foreign visitors, thereby fostering cultural exchange and understanding.
