AMMAN — Jordan recorded 475 new cases of COVID-19 and marked 4 new deaths between April 9 and April 15, the 15th epidemiological week, compared to 741 new cases and 7 deaths the preceding week, according to COVID weekly report.
According to the Ministry of Health, more than 23,000 PCR tests were conducted this week, of which 2.03 were positive.
There are currently 332 active cases in the Kingdom, with 35 patients having been admitted to the hospital and 49 people having been discharged. There are currently 53 people currently hospitalized for COVID-19, the Ministry of Health said.
About 4.75 million people have received their first dose of the vaccine and 4.46 million have received two.
