AMMAN — Jordan recorded 84 new cases of COVID-19 and marked 0
new deaths between April 30 and May 6, the 18th epidemiological week, compared
to 225 new cases and 2 deaths the preceding week, according to COVID
weekly report.

According to the
Ministry of Health, more than 7,700
PCR tests were conducted this week, of which %1.1 were positive.
There are currently 54 active cases in the
Kingdom, with 8 patients having been admitted to the hospital. There are
currently 9 people currently hospitalized for COVID-19, the Ministry of Health
said.
About 4.76 million people have received their
first dose of the vaccine and 4.48 million have received two.
