AMMAN — The president of the
Jordan Pharmacists Syndicate, Zaid Al-Kilani, said that the private sector will
provide any anti-COVID treatment if it is approved by regulators and the World
Health Organization, according to Jo24.

Kilani added that the private sector is usually the one
that provides medicines to the local market, but in the case of the
COVID-19 pandemic, there is lack of adequate treatment due to the global demand for
medicine, and therefore the government has been reaching agreements with
manufacturing companies.
Kilani said that the private sector will provide all
COVID-19 treatment once the global manufacturing companies make it available,
adding that the private sector is allowed to import medication to treat
COVID-19.
