Amman- The Cities and Villages Development Bank (CVDB) organized an awareness workshop on Monday in collaboration with the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission.

The workshop aimed to promote core values of integrity, transparency, and anti-corruption among the bank’s employees, reinforcing its commitment to strong governance and the adoption of best institutional practices.
In his opening remarks, CVDB Director General Osama Al-Azzam emphasized the bank’s dedication to embedding integrity and transparency in all its operations. He noted that the workshop forms part of an ongoing initiative to raise institutional awareness and enhance the professional capabilities of its staff.
Khaled Al-Zoubi, Administrative Assistant at CVDB, underscored the bank's focus on implementing clear policies to strengthen governance, such as its conflict-of-interest policy. He described this policy as essential to achieving the bank’s strategic objectives and building trust with its stakeholders.
Al-Zoubi further highlighted that the collaboration with the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission reflects the bank’s commitment to fostering a culture of transparency and drawing on national expertise to enhance its operations and contribute to sustainable development.
Workshop participants stressed the importance of continued collaborative efforts between institutions to instill a culture of integrity and transparency across the public sector, thereby supporting the broader goals of national development.
The session included practical exercises and discussions on the role of integrity in improving institutional performance and combating corruption, with participants also exploring relevant case studies and examples.
