AMMAN — The Cabinet, headed by Prime
Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh, approved various important decisions during their
session on Sunday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

One of the key decisions was the
approval of the Social Solidarity and Savings Fund Bylaw for Municipal
Employees for 2023. This new system aims to improve the living standards of
municipal employees by creating a fund that will regulate the entity's
work, management, and supervision.
Public sector modernizationAdditionally, the Council of
Ministers approved an amended bylaw for the administrative organization of the
Prime Ministry for 2023. This move is in line with the requirements of the
executive program of the
Public Sector Modernization Map.
media units that were established under organizational structure of the Prime Minister's office were abolished and their tasks were transferred to the newly-launched Ministry of Government Communication.
As part of this modernization
program, several new units will be established to manage various aspects of the
public sector.
