The approval came
in a Cabinet session Sunday, headed by Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh,
The amendment draft
law aims to activate the partnership between the public and private sectors,
facilitating emergency auditors’ access to specialized and safe health
services. It also provides for medical ambulance services to transport patients
to private hospitals by the Civil Defense cadres.
The amendment draft law for the private hospitals’ system
also aims to reduce expensive treatment bills for non-Jordanians by setting a
specific price list for patients, to fill the shortage of the specialized
cadres, and to develop health services provided to patients. That includes
medical tourism patients, to keep pace with quality and international
standards.
