Al-Saqour indicated that the initiative is awaiting official
approvals that it will be one of the first in the region, Khaberni reported.
The initiative will contribute to extracting toxins from
snakes and manufacturing special vaccines to prevent snakebites, within a
comprehensive medical team at the expense of the zoo, according to Al-Saqour.
She called on the authorities to support the initiative in
combating venomous snakes and manufacturing a Jordanian vaccine specifically
for snakes.
Al-Saqour added that the group obtained vaccines worth
JD2,000 from a Saudi donor, which are available in times of need.
