Calls to monitor unlicensed ride sharing applications

AMMAN — Economists have called on the government to monitor the rise of unlicensed ride sharing applications in the Kingdom. اضافة اعلان

On Tuesday, the Director-General of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority Abdulrahim Al-Wreikat, shared that there are 28 unlicensed transport applications in the Kindgom.

In an interview with Al Mamlaka TV, he highlighted that the number of licensed sharing applications stands at seven with four operational and three not working.

According to him, 13,000 vehicles are authorized to operate through these companies.
