AMMAN — A delegation from the
Canadian Embassy, headed by
Canadian ambassador to Jordan, Tariq Khan, was briefed on Jordan's experience
in digital transformation in the health sector, carried out by the national
Hakeem Program.

During a visit made to
Electronic Health Solutions’ (EHS)
company headquarters, its CEO, Omar Ayesh, spoke about the EHS' technology used
to improve health information management, facilitate access to medical records,
and improve diagnosis and treatment.
Ayesh valued the
Canadian government's efforts as a donor
and contributor to improvements in the Kingdom's public health sector, through
investments in infrastructure in multiple health facilities and granting access
to Jordanians and refugees to public health care through the
Jordan Health Fund for Refugees.
Meanwhile, Khan stressed the importance of strengthening
joint cooperation in the field of health care and
exchanging modern expertise and technologies, lauding EHS's "advanced" technology in improving
the quality of Jordan's health care and achieving digital transformation in the
Kingdom's hospitals.
