The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded on Monday reached 82,
according to The Ministry of Health, while a total of 3,565 new cases were recorded
in the Kingdom on Monday, bringing the death toll to 7,855 and the caseload to
669,300.

Breaking down Monday’s tally, the ministry said that 1,756 cases
were recorded in Amman, 576 in Irbid, 342 in Zarqa, 140 in Balqa, 102 in Mafraq,
227 in Karak, 45 in Ajloun, 164 in Aqaba, 79 in Jerash, 42 in Tafileh, 65 in
Maan, and 27 in Madaba.
The ministry added in a statement that some 2,718
hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from
hospitals, while 291 others were admitted. The number of active COVID-19 cases
in the Kingdom stands at around 57,401, according to the ministry’s statement.
More than 604,044 COVID-19 patients, including patients who
had been self-isolating, have fully recovered so far.
Around 12.88 percent of the 27,673 COVID-19 tests that were
conducted today came back positive.
