AMMAN — Jordanians marked a fairly long Eid
Al-Adha vacation by making use of the good weather. Thousands headed to public
parks, especially in the Ajloun region, for a day with nature, or to the nearby
Dead Sea resorts.

Aqaba too
saw a spike in visitors. Those who could afford it sacrificed sheep, although
traders complained that demand had dropped by at least 40 percent from last
year.
