Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti, received Singapore’s Senior Minister of State for Defence and Manpower, Mr. Zaqy Mohamad, and his accompanying delegation at his office at the General Command on Thursday.
اضافة اعلانMajor General Al-Huneiti and the visiting official discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation and coordination in a manner that serves the interests of both nations' armed forces. They also addressed support for relief efforts and assistance to the people of Gaza, given the dire humanitarian conditions they are facing.
The visiting minister expressed his appreciation for Jordan’s efforts, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in providing humanitarian and relief aid to Gaza, as well as the Kingdom’s role in maintaining security and stability in the region.
It is worth noting that the Jordanian Armed Forces received two humanitarian aid planes from Singapore on Wednesday, which will be sent to Gaza.
