On Sunday, Chairman of the Jordanian Senate Faisal Al-Fayez met with the Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairy, who completed his diplomatic mission in the Kingdom.
اضافة اعلانAl-Fayez expressed his pride in the strong and growing Jordanian-Saudi brotherly relations, which both His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud continuously work to develop and build upon.
Al-Fayez also praised Saudi Arabia's supportive stance towards King Abdullah II in rejecting the U.S. proposal that calls for the relocation of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Jordan and Egypt. He also expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s continued support for His Majesty's efforts to resolve the Palestinian issue based on international legitimacy and the two-state solution, aiming for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
He thanked Ambassador Al-Sudairy for his efforts in advancing mutual relations between the two countries, particularly in the economic, investment, and parliamentary fields, as well as enhancing cultural and social ties between the two brotherly peoples.
In turn, Ambassador Al-Sudairy thanked Jordan for the respect and cooperation he received during his tenure, noting the positive impact this had on his mission to strengthen Saudi-Jordanian relations in various sectors.
He also expressed gratitude to the Chairman of the Senate for his constant cooperation in efforts to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields.
Separately, Deputy Chairman of the Senate Dr. Abdullah Al-Nsoor also met with the Saudi Ambassador, where they discussed the brotherly ties between the two countries and ways to sustain and enhance them.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed current regional developments and emphasized that Jordanian-Saudi relations are historical and deeply rooted in various fields at all levels.
