According to a statement from the Jordan Chamber of Industry, the memorandum is a significant step toward fostering a comprehensive, safe, and fair work environment. It aligns with the Economic Modernization Vision, which aims to create one million job opportunities over the next decade, with the industrial sector expected to contribute one-third of this target.

The "Makanati" project, through the Business Development Center (BDC), has developed a human resources framework that prioritizes gender justice, equality, and inclusiveness. This initiative is expected to provide a safer work environment, reduce employee turnover, and increase women's participation in the industrial sector.

As part of the initiative, liaison officers within the chambers will receive capacity-building support to offer human resources services to over 60 companies and factories. This effort is intended to streamline internal policies and enhance the industrial sector's operations, ultimately improving work environment standards and easing the burdens on businesses.

Fathi Jaghbir, head of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, announced that the official launch of this service is slated for early next year, following the completion of the preparatory stages. He underscored the importance of this service in creating a conducive work environment, particularly given the industrial sector's increasing regional and global competitiveness.

Jaghbir noted that Jordan's national industries have gained a foothold in over 144 countries worldwide, despite challenging political and economic conditions. This growth highlights the need to keep pace with global changes and maintain high-quality standards in Jordan's industries, further enhancing the sector's business environment and its ability to attract investment.
