Changes to school curricula to help students

AMMAN — According to Minister of Education Wajih Owais, the National Center for Curriculum Development has finished amending some of the school curricula, including that of 12th graders (Tawjihi students), a local media outlet reported on Monday.اضافة اعلان

Owais said that certain changes in the 11th and 12th grade curricula will be introduced in the upcoming school year. They concern subjects like chemistry, physics, geography, Islamic studies, and math.

He added and teachers will undergo training to be able to deliver the best knowledge to students.

According to Owais, changes to the curricula are done to provide students with advanced books that focus on and build their cognitive skills.

The minister said that the committee for modernizing school curricula has completed its task and submitted its recommendations to the ministry. Some of such recommendations will be implemented this year, while the rest will be implemented later.
