Amman – On Monday, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti, visited the Northern Military Region Command, where he was received by its commander.

Major General Al-Huneiti was briefed by the commander of the region on the tasks, duties, and programs implemented by the region, the operational, training, and logistical progress, and the efforts made to protect the borders within its area of responsibility.
He was also informed about the readiness of the region’s formations and units to carry out any assigned missions.
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff emphasized that the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army continuously seeks to assess the combat and logistical readiness of its formations and units.
This, in turn, positively impacts morale and enhances the ability of frontline units to perform their duties with high efficiency and professionalism.
At the end of the visit, Major General Al-Huneiti recorded a note in the VIP guestbook.
In a related context, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff visited the Millennium Agricultural Investments Company, a subsidiary of the Armed Forces, where he was received by the company's director.
Major General Al-Huneiti listened to a detailed explanation from the director about the services, activities, and programs the company is involved in to enhance the agricultural sector in the Kingdom and its active role in driving economic growth, which positively impacts the sector and its workers.
The company’s director confirmed that the Baqoura Farm, one of the Millennium Agricultural Investments Company’s farms and part of the Kingdom's food security projects, spans 3,100 dunums, with around 2,000 dunums cultivated. He also mentioned that the company has provided four water desalination units at the farm to meet its irrigation needs.
Major General Al-Huneiti toured the company’s projects, observing the available resources and services, which provide a qualitative addition to the agricultural sector in the Kingdom and its pioneering role in providing employment opportunities for the local community.
It is worth noting that the Millennium Agricultural Investments Company is one of the pioneering projects supervised by the Jordanian Armed Forces, aiming to ensure food security and achieve sustainable agricultural development.
