The Public Relations Officer of the Civil Defense confirmed that since the start of the Eid al-Fitr holiday until 8:00 AM on the third day of Eid, Civil Defense personnel have responded to 3,832 emergency cases, providing necessary medical services and transferring critical cases to hospitals.

He added that the rescue teams responded immediately to 337 rescue incidents, including falls and traffic accidents. The specialized firefighting teams controlled 155 fire incidents across various regions of the kingdom.
He emphasized the Civil Defense’s readiness to handle different emergency reports, urging citizens to adhere to public safety precautions to reduce accidents.
He also noted that the Civil Defense continues to implement its special Eid al-Fitr plan, which includes the intensive deployment of diving teams near water bodies to reduce response time when needed, as well as the placement of advanced rescue and ambulance stations in recreational areas.
He praised the public’s positive response to the media awareness campaign published by the Directorate before the holiday, confirming that no major accidents were reported. He also urged holidaygoers to extinguish fires after grilling and to supervise children, ensuring they do not approach swimming areas or steep, grassy locations.
