In detail, the spokesperson explained that the fire responded to by the firefighting teams in Madaba—supported by Civil Defense Directorates from East, West, and Central Amman, as well as the Capital and Central Support Units, the Desert Highway unit, the Gendarmerie Forces, the Central Badia Police, and the Traffic Institute—broke out in a warehouse containing raw materials used in the production of insulation materials. The specialized teams were able to contain and control the fire with great efficiency and prevented it from spreading to nearby areas. The warehouse covered an area of 1,500 square meters.

As for the other fire, handled by the firefighting teams in Balqa, they were able—professionally and skillfully—to extinguish the blaze that erupted in two warehouses containing tires and bicycles. The fire was contained and prevented from spreading to surrounding areas, with the damage limited to an area of no more than 400 square meters out of a total area of approximately 2,000 square meters.

The spokesperson added that the teams involved in extinguishing the fires made great efforts that enabled them to completely put out the blazes. He confirmed that there were no injuries or fatalities reported in either incident. An investigation has been opened to determine the cause of the fires.
