The directorate's call comes in the face of an anticipated
atmospheric depression that is expected to bring heavy rains and dusty winds in
most parts of the country, particularly in desert areas.
Caution urged for those with respiratory diseasesLt. Abdullah Al-Saudi, who spoke to the Amman-based Public
Security Radio on Monday, also urged those with respiratory diseases, such as
asthma, and those who are exposed to allergic conditions to take extra
precautions.
He advised that they visit their doctors if they experience
any symptoms of difficulty breathing during the expected heavy dust.
Caution on roadsIn addition to this, Saudi also reminded drivers to exercise
caution while driving on desert roads and for people to be more careful on
highways.
The public should follow all guidance provided by the police
to avoid any mishaps during this expected atmospheric depression.
