Nasser told Jo24 that the teachers who will
be nominated represent the last batch on the ministry’s 2022 appointment
schedule.
The bureau and the
Ministry of Education also
decided to approve the inclusion of those 48 years old and above in the appointments,
after it had previously suspended the appointment of those 45 years old and
above to teacher positions, he said.
A total of 10,000 people passed the 2019 competitive
exam, Nasser said. Six people are nominated for each job position according to
international standards, while the three highest scorers in each group are
nominated for personal interviews, and one is chosen for appointment based on
the interview results.
