AMMAN — On Monday, rescue teams from the
Civil Defense successfully saved an individual who had fallen from a slope, plunging
approximately 150 meters deep in the Shajara area of Irbid.

The spokesperson for the
Public Security Directorate (PSD) reported that the operations room received a distress call
indicating a person's fall from a slope within one of the valleys in the
Shajara area, part of the Ramtha district, with a depth of 150 meters,
Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
The spokesperson added that specialized teams
from the
Civil Defense and the police in the province swiftly responded to the
incident. They worked efficiently to rescue the individual from the bottom of
the valley, utilizing equipment specifically designed for such emergencies.
Subsequently, the person received immediate
first aid and was promptly transported to the hospital for necessary treatment.
